Schrier Park



Located on Osterhout Road, Schrier Park has to an indoor shelter with fireplace and is popular for year-round group rental.  Schrier Park has a variety of trails for a peaceful walk or a winter cross-county ski adventure.   Each fall, Shrier is the host site for the Apple Festival and Haunted Forest community events.  Schrier is also the southern terminus of the South Central Greenway complex of 4 park facilities – West Lake Nature Preserve, South Westnedge Park, Bishop’s Bog Preserve and Schrier Park.

Policies:

  • Pets:  Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6’ or retractable leash, inoculated for rabies and never left unattended. Doggie disposal bags are available in the park for cleaning up after your dog. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or in the beach picnic areas.
  • Cancellation:  The damage deposit and/or rental fees will be returned if the rental is cancelled within 2 weeks of payment. After that period, 50% of the fees will be refunded, if cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to the rental date. Any later cancellations will result in 100% forfeiture. In the event of severe weather, every effort will be made to reschedule your reservation if desired; otherwise, the cancellation policy will determine the amount of any refund.
