This program includes the quarterly collection of brush in January, April, July and October, including pickup of Christmas trees in January and bagged leaves/ornamental grasses in April.
For collection purposes, the city is divided into four collection zones. Click here to view program details and a printable map that indicates the Monday designated for pickup start in your neighborhood.
The next Quarterly Curbside Brush Collection will occur in October 2014.
Northwest Zone (Zone 1): Starts Monday, October 6
Southwest Zone (Zone 2): Starts Monday, October 13
Southeast Zone (Zone 3): Starts Monday, October 20
Northeast Zone (Zone 4): Starts Monday, October 27
Brush removal in the NORTHEAST ZONE (Zone 4) will begin ahead of schedule with a preliminary collection beginning on Thursday, October 23, 2014. However, crews will return to Zone 4 on the regularly scheduled collection date on Monday, October 27, 2014 to collect any brush placed at the curb subsequent to the preliminary collection.
To ensure the collection of items, residents are asked to place brush at the curbside by 7 a.m. on the designated Monday for the collection zone. Materials may be placed at curbside up to – but not more than – 72 hours prior to 7 a.m. on Monday. Residents are reminded that a small amount of debris may remain at the curb following brush collection and are asked to assist with the final cleanup.
To ensure collection, all materials should be at curbside no later than 7 a.m. Crews will not return to collect items put out late.
Residents are reminded that collection of materials in each zone BEGINS on Monday. Materials may not be collected on Monday; however, each zone will be cleared of materials by the end of the designated week.
