The Construction Board of Appeals is a seven member board comprised of an architect or engineer, a master plumber, a master electrician, a mechanical contractor, two building contractors and a member at large. The Board considers appeals and issues involving the administration and enforcement of the State of Michigan Construction Codes. The Board also may review structures that are considered to be unsafe and can provide recommendations to City Council for corrective action. This is an on-call board.
Construction Board agendas will be posted seven days before each meeting. Minutes will be posted once approved by the board.
