Parking Enforcement Agents - Volunteer

The City of Portage is seeking responsible individuals for the volunteer position of Parking Enforcement Agent. This is an unpaid volunteer position which issues fire lane, no parking zone, handicapped zone and other parking violations. Other job functions include testifying in court proceedings and reporting observed crimes or need for city services. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Michigan driver license with a good record. Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation. Uniforms and vehicle are provided. Hours are flexible. This is a great opportunity to serve your community and/or acquire law enforcement experience.
