The City of Portage is seeking candidates for the position of Seasonal Laborer in the Streets & Equipment Department.This position supports street maintenance such as sidewalk and sign repairs, grate/guardrail repairs, asphalt patching, tree/brush trimming and other street maintenance.Must be reliable, able to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50+ lbs. and work outside in adverse weather conditions.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.Must be at least 18 w/valid Michigan driver license with a good record.Pay is $8.25/hr. (no benefits).
