The Finance Department manages the city budget of approximately $81 million as well as the city ten-year Capital Improvement Program budget designed to plan for important infrastructure projects. This department performs accounting and financial reporting activities such as the Consolidated Annual Financial Report, or (CAFR). Other functions of this department include payroll, accounts payable, management of financial guarantees and grant administration.
