Portage Fire Division Seeking Input
The Portage Department of Public Safety – Fire Division has been an accredited agency through the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) and is currently seeking reaccreditation. The program allows fire and emergency service agencies to compare performance standards to industry best practices in order to determine community risk and safety needs, develop specific standards of cover, and establish a method for achieving continuous organizational improvement.
As part of the reaccreditation process, the Fire Division is seeking input from Portage residents and business owners, to ensure that the response and services provided by the Fire Division are in alignment with the community’s needs and expectations.
