Dive into the Pledge!
Mayors and cities across the United States are entering this friendly competition to raise awareness for water conservation. Residents can take a 4-step online pledge on behalf of the City of Portage. As more residents take the pledge, Portage's standing in the challenge rises. In the end, both the City of Portage and residents are eligible to win prizes based on participation in the challenge.

Here are some tips and ideas to get started at home.

Grab a reusable water bottle and take it with you when you're on the go. Plus, you can customize it to make it truly yours.

Reusable bags are great for shopping. They're durable and can reduce the number of plastic or paper bags needed at the store.

Dispose of any unwanted or expired medications and over-the-counter medications by utilizing the City of Portage's Red Med Box.
By using a Red Med box, you are helping us keep our local water systems free of contamination. Read more about the Red Med Box program in the January 2021 Portager.
