Junior Ranger Club - Earn-A-Badge Workshop, Arts2023-02-16T18:00:00The Junior Ranger Club is an activity-based program that helps aspiring park rangers learn how to be wildlife stewards. Junior Rangers are usually between the ages of 5 to 13, although people of all ages may participate. This program provides families with the opportunity
to explore the Portage Park system. Program activities are available
online, year-round. There are eight different badges that can be
earned by completing specific activities: arts, endurance, health,
history, nature, science, service, and survival. Check out portagemi.gov/725/Junior-Ranger-Club
to get started. Once a month, Portage Parks & Recreation offers Earn-A-Badge workshops for
anyone wishing to work on badges. During Earn-A-Badge workshops, a Junior Ranger may bring an adult and together, work on

presented in partnership by Kalamazoo Area Runners, Susan
G. Komen, and the City of Portage will be held on Sunday,
February 26, 2023. Runners and spectators are invited to join
in this extraordinary community celebration of health and
wellness. The courses highlight the Portage trail system and
include a mix of paved bike trails and roads.
