Rain or Shine, in the City Hall parking lot every Sunday from 10 AM - 2 PM. Support local farmers and vendors while ensuring access to locally-grown and crafted products.   2. Kid's Try-It Arts

    Summer is the time to try new things! We offer two great opportunities for your little ones, ages 4 - 5 & 6 - 7, to have a hands-on experience with new sports or arts activities. Both programs are six-week introductory programs. To register, visit and click on the purple Recreation Activities & Facility Rentals button beginning May 4. Registration deadline is June 10. Space is limited with a maximum of 10 kids per session. Every week, kids will experiment with a different style of art. Let the creativity flow with colors, shapes and lines. With our art play, kids will also learn self-expression, focus and to try, try again!

  3. Brooks Archery Camp - Beginner

    Learn how to properly shoot a bow and arrow with the help of Ted Brooks Archery for ages 6 and up! Bows and arrows will be provided for those who do not have their own.   4. Adult Pickleball Intermediate League - Session 2

    July 29, 2020, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Ramona Park (8600 South Sprinkle Road) and Lakeview Park (9345 Portage Road)

    Nothing says Portage Summer like playing pickleball. Two six-week sessions are offered over the summer for each league. Intermediate League: This league is for the person who wants more competition than the Recreational league, but less than the Competitive league. You will play with all the people at your particular park, and will move up, or down a court if you win or lose your game. Points will not be kept from week to week.
