  2. City Hall Exhibitions - "I Love Portage" Essay Winners

    Get inspired with essays written by local students about why Portage is a great place to be. View Portage through the eyes of Portage youth with the past winners of the City of Portage’s annual essay contest, “I Love Portage!”. This year's winners will present their essays at our Tree Lighting event in December.

  3. Tune it Up! Ride

    August 22, 2020, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Portage Creek Bicentennial Park

    This program will teach kids how to complete a pre-ride safety check, tune up their own bicycle and then have a guided ride with a qualified instructor. Participants must bring in their own bike, helmet and a chaperone. Don’t have a bike, but would like to participate? Call Portage Parks & Recreation at 329-4522 for possible options. To register, visit mypark.portagemi.gov and click on the purple Recreation Activities & Facility Rentals button. Registration deadline is July 31.
