  2. Swim Lessons

    July 12, 2021, 10:00 AM - July 28, 2021, 12:00 PM @ Ramona Park & Beach

Beginner Level is for new, inexperienced swimmers. We will introduce basic aquatic skills such as floating, gliding, bobbing and breath control, kicking and stroke basics. Certified instructors use fun activities and games to make the water an enjoyable place and to help children gain confidence in and around the water. Participants will also learn basic water safety. Intermediate Level builds off of the skills taught in the Beginner Level by increasing endurance. The skills learned from Beginner Level will be fine-tuned so participants can perform them independently. Rotary breathing is introduced and survival skills (floating and treading water) are progressed. Participants will also learn basic water safety. All sessions are open to Beginner and Intermediate levels. To register, visit and click on the purple Recreation Activities & Facility Rentals button. The registration deadline is one week prior to the start of each session.
