September, 6, 2022 

Portage Parks & Recreation welcomes First Call to the stage as the final musical act of the Summer Concert Series on Thursday, September 8, at the Overlander Bandshell (7810 South Westnedge Avenue) at 7 PM. 

First Call combines an extremely talented front quartet with a funky, highly experienced backline. The band is dedicated to fun performances and memorable events. Their song list includes hits from Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson to Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and more!

Bring a chair or blanket and leave a little room for busting a move.  Admission is FREE to the Summer Concert Series because of the Series Sponsor, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo!  No ticket or registration is required for admission.  Top Shelf Catering will be selling concessions, including their signature of mac & cheese bar with 12 toppings to choose from. 

Parking will be available at City Hall, Zhang Portage Community Senior Center, First Reformed Church, Portage Community Center, and Comerica Bank starting at 5 PM.  A drop-off loop will be available at Central Park South for those with mobility issues.   There is limited ADA parking on-site.
