Summer is in full swing with Friday at the Flats on July 26 from 4:30 to 8:30 PM at the Celery Flats Pavilion, 7335 Garden Lane. Make this your destination for dinner with food purchase options from Scott’s Pig Roast, Teresa’s Kitchen, Top Shelf Catering, Lazy Man BBQ, Specialty Cheesecake & Dessert, and The Little Scoop. Dine “al fresco” while you enjoy live musical performances from local artists. The McKinney/Brown Band will perform many familiar favorites starting at 4:30 PM. Sing and dance along with The Iconix as they perform classic hits that span generations at 6:30 PM.
Stay for a Movie in the Park at the Celery Flats Historical Area. This month’s family-friendly movie is The Incredibles, sponsored by Lake Michigan Credit Union. Dress as your favorite superhero or come as you are. Bring a blanket or chair and settle in for a night of hero vs. villain. The movie starts at dusk, approximately 9 PM, and will be canceled in the event of rain, strong winds, or other inclement weather.
