Honor a Veteran or Active-Duty Service Member with a Personalized Banner at Liberty Park
The City of Portage is proud to recognize and honor those who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces through the 2025 Salute to Veterans program. This initiative allows community members to sponsor a personalized light-pole banner featuring a photo of their veteran or active-duty service member.
For a $200 sponsorship, each banner will be displayed on light poles in Liberty Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2025, creating a powerful tribute to the brave men and women who have dedicated themselves to protecting our nation. At the conclusion of the display period, the banner will be returned to the sponsor as a lasting keepsake.
Proceeds from this program will directly support veterans’ services at the Portage Zhang Senior Center, helping provide valuable resources and programs for those who have served.
Hurry! Only 11 banners remain, and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t miss this special opportunity to publicly honor a loved one who has served or is currently serving in the military.
