Boil Water Advisory Affected Addresses:
• 1306 – 3300 East Centre Avenue (excluding 1503 and 1603 East Centre)
• Portage Road from Zoetis Drive to Prosperity Drive
• Pleasant Drive from Portage Road to Oakside Drive
• Prosperity Drive from Portage Road to Oakside Drive
• Engle Court
On May 26, 2020, a water main break occurred at East Centre Avenue and Oakside Drive. It became necessary to depressurize a large area of water main to complete the repair. Affected customers are advised to boil their tap water for a minimum of one minute prior to use for drinking, brushing teeth or cooking. The above list and attached map illustrate the boil water advisory area.
This is a precautionary measure. All means of flushing and collecting bacteriological samples from the water main will be followed before the advisory is lifted. A news release will follow once the advisory is lifted.
