Where’s Mr. Crispy? You guessed it...he’s at Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Park. This park will be the newest park in Portage and opens this spring. Some amenities will include meditative benches, statues, landscape corridors, shade trees, and more. Finally, this park is named after Dr. Martin Luther King Junior and the sculptures highlight his message a "Garden of Hope".
It was a close race for first place this time. But seconds before our first Facebook response, Sharon Ritchie was officially the first person to guess the park correctly via email. Congratulations Sharon. Please bring a valid ID and pick up your prize at Portage Parks & Recreation (320 Library Lane) by February 17, 2023. Remember that this prize holds no cash value.
