‘Tis the season...to decorate your home! Hey Portage, are you ready to get into the holiday spirit? Enter your holiday-themed house in our “Decked Out Home” 2 Holiday Decorating Contest sponsored by Consumers Energy. Just upload your photos (no more than five) of your “decked out home” and your address in the comments in the social media post @CityofPortageMI or email them to publicinformation@portagemi.gov by Monday, December 18 at 11:59 PM EST to enter. An interactive map will be posted on Tuesday, December 19 to this website and on Facebook, and judging from a top-secret judge will occur from Tuesday, December 19 through Thursday, December 21.
The winning homes will be announced on Facebook on Friday, December 22, 2023, and awarded their prize and a special certificate in person at the January 9, 2024, Portage City Council Meeting at 7 PM. Thanks to our sponsor Consumers Energy, the following CASH prizes will be awarded:
