Update - 11/11/2019: The 2019 Fall Leaf Pickup Program is currently on a temporary hold to allow crews from the Department of Public Works to focus on clearing and maintaining the city streets. During this period of winter weather, the safety of Portage motorists is paramount. As the weather allows, city crews will resume the Fall Leaf Pickup Program in Zone 1. Each fall, the City of Portage operates a leaf collection program that includes the collection of leaves along public streets in each zone. Leaf collection will occur three times in each zone or until prohibited by the weather. The 2019 Fall Leaf Pickup Program will run from October 28 through December 5.
