[ARCHIVED] City Building Access

Appointment Only News Flash

Beginning Monday, November 16, City of Portage buildings will be open to the public by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. To make an appointment, customers may visit portagemi.gov/directory.aspx to view the City of Portage Staff Directory. Those wishing to make a payment may use the 24-hour secure drop box on the east side of City Hall or call (269) 329-4455 to make a payment in person at the Treasury window.

The Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department reports that Kalamazoo County COVID-19 cases are continuing to trend upward. To slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of Portage will reduce public access to all city buildings. “Considering the increase in COVID-19 cases in the county, we must strengthen our efforts to control the epidemic,” said City Manager Joe La Margo. “If you have business to conduct at the City of Portage, we encourage you to visit us online at portagemi.gov or call the appropriate city department.” This action will not diminish the level of services available to Portage residents or other customers
