For the 2018 beach season, the City of Portage has waived admission fees for Portage residents!
Ramona Park Beach offers a sandy swim area with lifeguards, boat rentals, concessions, picnic areas, a fishing dock, beach volleyball, an accessible playground, changing rooms and much more! Vehicle permits for entry into Ramona Park can be obtained at the Portage Parks & Recreation office (7900 South Westnedge Avenue) beginning May 1 or at Ramona Park during regular beach hours. (Proof of residency is required to receive free Portage resident annual pass.)
Beach hours: Open Daily 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
May 25 – 28 ♦ June 1 – 3 ♦ June 8 – September 3

Rent a kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard at Ramona Park Beach! Open on all beach operating dates with the last 1-hour rental at 6 p.m. Rental fees are $12 for the first hour and $5 for each additional ½ hour - OR - a $36 flat rate for 4-6 hours.
