Portage Parks & Recreation welcomes you back to the first Friday at the Flats of the season on Friday, May 27 at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane). The event takes place from 4:30 - 8:30 PM and includes an array of dinner and dessert selections as well as live performances from local musicians.
This Friday, food vendors include Skinny Kennys BBQ, Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company, Scott's Pig Roast, Ibison Concessions & Catering by Festival Foods, Theresa's Kitchen, and Motor Mouth. Vince Miller and Chris Forestieri will kick off the summer music series at 4:45 PM and the McKinney Brown Band will close out the evening.
For the first time ever, Friday at the Flats will also include a Craft Market across the street at the Celery Flats Historical Area. A candle-making workshop will be available, while supplies last. Both events will occur rain or shine. Admission is FREE and open to the public.
