Brush & Leaf Drop Off Days

Saturday, May 27 from 9 AM - 1 PM

The City of Portage Compost Facility will be open on Saturday, May 27 from 9 AM to 1 PM.  Portage residents may drop off  leaves bagged in biodegradable paper bags and brush.  Brush and leaves must be separated.  Staff from the Department of Public Works will be on-site to direct residents to the appropriate location to deposit materials. The compost facility is located on Oakland Drive, just south of West Osterhout Avenue.

Residential Service Only

This service is restricted to Portage homeowners; be prepared to present proof of residency (driver’s license). Brush from commercial establishments, churches, and schools will not be accepted.

Note: The Quarterly Curbside Brush and Yearly Leaf Collection Program is not performed for commercial establishments, churches, or schools, or on private streets (unless every property owner on a private street has signed an indemnification form).
